Vision Institute of Advanced Studies, Delhi was established in the year 2001 to serve the Education
fraternity. Its main objective is to facilitate Quality education in the field
of Disability Studies, Special Education, Rehabilitation, and Psychology among
others. The Institute is one of the leading Institutions in the field of
Special Education and Rehabilitation - Disability Studies.
The
organizations is registered under the National Trust Act, Persons with
Disabilities Act, Income Tax Act and Societies Registration Act of 1860.
Vision
Institute of Applied Studies is headed by Prof. C.L. Kundu. He is the former
Vice Chancellor of Himachal Pradesh University, Shimla and Advisor to RCI,
Govt. of India.
The
Institute offers RCI Approved training program in the field of MR, HI, ASD
& CP at Diploma level. The Institute is also a Special Study Centre of
IGNOU offering BAPC & MAPC program. Apart from this, Institute also
offering the PG diploma in Guidance & Counselling of CDOL, Jamia Millia
Islamia.
Vision Institute offer programmes like the D.Ed. (Special Education)- MR/ HI/ASD/CP, DVR are recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Govt. of India with NOC from the State Government.

B.Ed. (Special Education) - Mental Retardation / Hearing Impairment / Learning Disability and M.Ed. (Special Education)- Mental Retardation Degree programmes being offered at Vision Institute- Faridabad, Haryana are affiliated to M.D. University, Rohtak, Haryana in addition to the Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Pscyhology (PGDRP).
BA & MA programmes are approved by the Indra Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU). Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counselling is approved by the Jamia Millia Islamia under its Centre for Distance & Open Learning . New courses being added from the year 2014-15 include B.Com, M.Com, MA (Education), MA (Sociology), DECCE.
